Finding good, free clip art on the web can be time-consuming and frustrating.
If you are looking for a few lovely rose images for your blog or personal homepage, check out Juelie’s State Flower Garden of Gifs.
Juelie McLean has created a series of beautiful small graphics depicting each state flower. Rose lovers will find three roses in the collection:
- America Beauty Rose (District of Colombia)
- Rose (New York)
- Wild Rose (Iowa and North Dakota)
Of course, the page contains more than just images of roses.
These images may be used on personal (non-commercial) websites. SantaLady (McLean) does require a link back to her website.
To save one of her images, just right click on the flower and select Save Picture As… As you can see from the snapshot here, the images are transparent and can be displayed on a white or colored background.
